Jim Farrell is a Managing Partner of Calera Capital and a member of the General Partner.
Before co-founding Calera Capital in 1991, Jim served as an independent investor assisting Rainwater, Inc. in a private equity transaction that led to the successful restructuring of AmeriCredit (NYSE, consumer finance company). Previously, Jim was an Associate at ESL Partners, a private investment partnership pursuing value-oriented investments in private and public equity and debt securities. He began his career in 1985 at Copley Real Estate Advisors.
Jim received an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Jim grew up on Staten Island, NY and lived in Boston, Tokyo, and Dallas before settling in San Francisco in 1991. He enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with his wife, two sons and friends.

Mark Williamson is a Managing Partner of Calera Capital and a member of the General Partner.
Prior to joining Calera Capital in 1996, Mr. Williamson was Managing Director at the Harvard Private Capital Group, Inc., where he was a member of a small team responsible for managing a $1.6 billion private equity portfolio. Mr. Williamson was responsible for a number of significant investments across a range of industries. Previously, he was an Associate at ESL Partners, Inc., a private investment partnership pursuing value-oriented investments in private and public equity and debt securities. He began his career at Goldman Sachs International Corporation and McKinsey & Company, Inc.
Mr. Williamson earned a B.A. from Oxford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
Mark grew up in England, came to the U.S. for business school and never left. He enjoys various sports and non-profit activities. Mark and his wife have three children and live in Weston, MA.

Paul Walsh is a Senior Managing Director with Calera Capital and a member of the General Partner.
Paul is the former Chairman and CEO of eFunds Corporation (NYSE: EFD), a leading provider of risk management, electronic funds transfer services, prepaid card processing, and global outsourcing solutions to more than 10,000 financial services companies in more than 80 countries. eFunds also provided point-of-sale fraud prevention solutions to retailers and electronic benefits processing services to government entities. As Chairman and CEO, Paul led a dramatic improvement in the company’s operating performance and stock price driven by revenue growth initiatives, strategic acquisitions, rationalization of non-core assets, and cost reductions. Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (NYSE: FIS) acquired eFunds in September 2007 for approximately $1.8 billion, representing an increase in equity value of 6X over 5 years.
Paul has also held various leadership positions at other businesses including Clareon Corporation (Chairman/CEO/Founder), Wright Express (CEO), BancOne Diversified Services (CEO), Norwest Capital Management and Trust (SVP), and Diners Club Germany (CEO). He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Staples, Inc. for 27 years where he helped oversee Staples’ growth from a regional player in the US with $165 million in revenue to the $25 billion global industry leader. Paul is also a former member of the Board of Trustees at Thunderbird, School of Global Management.
He received a B.S. in Engineering from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from Boston University (with Honors).
Paul and his wife, Janis, are both natives of Maine where they live during the summer while escaping to Arizona for the winter. They have 4 married children and 11 grandchildren ages 14 and younger. Paul and his wife enjoy making craft cider at their home in Maine.

Kevin Baker is a Managing Director and the General Counsel of Calera Capital and a member of the General Partner.
For 26 years, Kevin has been an integral part of the investment team and has been involved in all aspects of Calera Capital's business. He has been practicing law for 35 years and actively participates in all acquisitions and dispositions of portfolio companies. Kevin also assists in overseeing and monitoring Calera's portfolio companies and is involved with respect to the firm's fund level matters, including fund formation, operations, and compliance.
Prior to joining Calera Capital, Kevin was a partner with the international law firm of O'Melveny & Myers. At O'Melveny, he counseled clients in mergers and acquisitions transactions, security offerings, general corporate matters, and securities filings and issues.
Kevin has represented buyers and sellers in numerous private and public mergers and acquisitions transactions. He also has represented investors and issuers in private placements of securities and underwriters and issuers in public securities offerings. Kevin has experience in bank financings, bond financings, and other corporate financing activities. He also has experience in litigation matters, franchise law, and compensation, employment, and labor related issues.
Prior to attending law school, Kevin was a member of the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Co. At Arthur Andersen, he was involved in tax research, planning, and compliance matters and accounting and audit related issues.
Kevin is a licensed attorney and a certified public accountant. He received a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and a B.A. cum laude in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College.
Born and raised in Missouri for his early childhood, Kevin spent his teenage and college years in Southern California. He and his wife of 39 years have three sons and two daughters.

Prior to joining Calera Capital, Dan was Vice President, Finance and Accounting, at Worldview Technology Partners, a venture capital firm focused on investing in and building U.S. technology companies. At Worldview, he was responsible for all accounting and financing functions of the firm and was involved in all operational aspects of the firm.
Prior to Worldview, Dan was a Senior Manager in the audit practice of Deloitte where he primarily serviced clients in the financial services industry. Dan is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dan received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, with a dual major in accounting and finance.

Bob Bianco is an Operating Partner at Calera Capital with nearly 25 years of experience building and leading successful logistics and transportation management enterprises.
Mr. Bianco is the former president of Menlo Logistics, the global supply chain unit of Con-way, Inc. In 2015, Menlo generated some $1.7 billion in revenues and nearly $50 million in EBITDA. He also served as an executive vice president of the parent company. Con-way was acquired by XPO Logistics (NYSE) in October 2015.
Mr. Bianco joined the former CNF (predecessor to Con-way) in 1989 as a management trainee. He was one of the first employees of Menlo Logistics when the company was founded as a CNF startup in 1992. He was named vice president of operations for Menlo Logistics in 1997 and became president in 2002. As president Mr. Bianco had executive responsibility for the strategic development, financial performance and business growth of Menlo’s global operations, which spanned North America and 20 countries, employing over 10,000 people at 160 locations worldwide. Under his leadership from 2002 through 2015, he led the consistent growth and profitability of one of the industry’s most respected third party logistics providers, growing net revenues over $500 million or 175 percent.
Mr. Bianco began his career as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army. Stationed in Germany, he was responsible for managing transportation of war-fighting supplies to combat units in Europe.
Among his professional affiliations are membership in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), and as a member of the board of directors of the International Warehouse and Logistics Association. He also serves on the Board of Rock-it Cargo, a former Calera portfolio company.
A native of San Francisco, California, he earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco.

Kevin Miller is an Operating Partner at Calera Capital with over 20 years of experience growing and leading successful healthcare and technology companies.
Kevin has been working with Calera’s portfolio companies since 2011 and has served on the Board of Directors for four Calera companies. Kevin is the former Executive Chairman of Prospira Paincare, where he recruited a strong management team and worked closely with sponsors to execute the acquisition focused strategy.
Kevin previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Benevis, a private equity backed dental platform. He recruited and developed an exceptional leadership team that grew revenue by over 10 times and EBITDA by over 100 times during his tenure. He is proud to have built the largest provider of dental services to children in the United States treating over two million patients per year.
Prior to joining Benevis, Kevin was Vice President and General Manager at Ariba, Inc. In this capacity, he managed Ariba’s largest business unit covering the Eastern United States, Canada, and the Public Sector. Prior to joining Ariba, Kevin was a Principal with The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting firm based in Boston. He began his career at General Electric Company, where he worked in various businesses. After completing GE’s Financial Management Program, he worked at GE Capital as part of a global M&A team.
Kevin received his M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelors’ degree in Business Administration.

Robert Jaunich II is a Founding Partner of Calera Capital.
Mr. Jaunich has a long career of domestic and international operating and investing experience across a broad range of industries. Prior to founding Calera Capital and leading its predecessor, Fremont Partners, since 1991, he was a member of the Chief Executive Office of Swiss-based Jacobs Suchard AG, President of Osborne Computer Corporation, President of Sara Lee Corporation, and Executive Vice President of Memorex Corporation. He began his career with Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Jaunich also has substantial board-level experience in both publicly-traded and privately-held corporations. This includes chairmanships at Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE) and Juno Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ), and Board memberships at Con-way, Inc. (NYSE), Sara Lee Corporation (NYSE), and Crown Pacific (NYSE). Additionally, he has chaired several privately-held companies, including Coldwell Banker, Kerr Group, Software Architects, Douwe Egberts (Europe), Nabob Foods (Canada), and Tapco International.
Mr. Jaunich currently serves on the board of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (past Chair), is a member of the President’s Advisory Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, and is a trustee at the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation. He is a life member of the World Presidents' Organization, following his years in the Young Presidents' Organization.

Steve Layt serves as an Executive Partner of Calera Capital. He brings more than 30 years of global experience in the restaurant industry, including with services and technology supporting the industry.
Steve has held numerous senior executive positions across the restaurant industry during his career, most notably as the President of Applebee’s, the world’s largest casual dining restaurant company with more than $4.5 billion in annual revenues.
Prior to Applebee’s, Steve held other diverse executive leadership positions, including senior restaurant technology roles within YUM Brands as well as its Pizza Hut Division, where Steve assumed operational responsibility for more than 2,500 restaurants across the United States.
A native Australian, Steve received a bachelor’s degree in business from Southern Cross University and in 2015 was named SCU’s Outstanding Alumnus of the Year. Steve is also an FAA (US) licensed pilot and a former Rescue Crew Officer with the Australian State Emergency Services. In this role, Steve was a recipient of the prestigious “Premiers Award” for his extraordinary contributions as a first-responder to one of Australia’s worst transport disasters in 1989. Steve is also an internationally certified Executive Performance Coach and a holder of the “Seven Seals Award” from the US Department of Defense in recognition of his support of US Military members.
John Lilly serves as an Executive Partner of Calera Capital. He is the former President and CEO of Pillsbury, the food products manufacturer.
Peter Meechan serves as an Executive Partner of Calera Capital. He is Chief Corporate Development Officer of Automation Anywhere, the global leader in enterprise robotic process automation; the former COO of ABBYY, a cognitive computing pioneer; and formerly Macromedia/Adobe’s SVP, Mobile and Devices.
David Pasieka serves as an Executive Partner of Calera Capital. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors including Telecom, Enterprise Software, Financial Services, Power, and Utilities. His career has been focused in Canada, in addition to significant experience within the U.S. and internationally.
Most recently, David served in various senior leadership roles including President, COO and CTO with Algonquin Power and Utilities (TSX, NYSE), a diversified international generation, transmission, and distribution utility with approximately $11B USD of total assets. Under his leadership in the Utility division, the company completed over 25 acquisitions across North America in water, gas, and electric distribution, growing the business to over 1 million customers and nearly $6B USD in assets.
David has also worked as a senior executive with AT&T Canada, MetroNet, Zerofootprint, and eFunds. With a passion for technology, he has also contributed as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence in a Canadian innovation hub assisting early stage clean-tech ventures. A student of governance, he has a keen interest in sustainability and risk management.
David earned a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Waterloo. He also earned his MBA in International Business from the Schulich School of Business at York University, as well as a Chartered Director designation through the Directors College at McMaster University. Recently, he completed a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and the Sustainable Corporations Programme at the University of Oxford.
In David’s spare time, he is a struggling golfer and enthusiastic boater, and he is currently trying to master Trapshooting. He lives in the Toronto area and also part-time at the lake with his wife and two dogs; two grown children and two granddaughters are not far away.
