Grandpoint Bank signs definitive agreement to acquire Gilmore Bank

Grandpoint Bank announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Gilmore Bank. Under the terms of the agreement Gilmore Bank will be merged into Grandpoint Bank with Grandpoint Bank surviving. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory and shareholder approvals. It is anticipated the transaction will be completed in the late third quarter of 2013. Gilmore Bank was founded in 1955 and currently operates two offices in Los Angeles County, including its headquarters at the historic Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles and a branch in La Canada Flintridge. As of March 31, 2013, Gilmore Bank had total assets of $176.9 million.
