- Identified the opportunity to better integrate a network of strong local operators into a single, unified platform with leading national infrastructure and a singular competitive position
- Developed a strategy to invest in and execute on M&A at scale, with high-quality and uniform integrations into the larger platform
Calera Supported Initiatives
In close partnership with the United Site Services management team, Calera supported initiatives that helped build a true industry-leading business, including:
- Expanding Geographic Reach: Entered new geographic markets to broaden coverage and create a more connected and national operating footprint
- Building a Strong and Unified Platform: Rolled out major improvements across sales, service, and operations, including the launch of USS Strong, a company-wide initiative to share and implement best practices
- Upgrading Technology Infrastructure: Introduced a new technology platform to better support frontline teams and strengthen day-to-day service operations
- Executing on Strategic Acquisitions: Developed and executed a robust M&A program, completing and integrating 33 acquisitions during the investment period
- Building the Leadership Team: Worked with the CEO to grow the leadership team, recruiting and hiring multiple senior executives into key new roles to support and drive long-term growth
