
Michael S. Moon is a Principal with Calera
Capital.
Before joining Calera Capital in 2006, Mr. Moon was a Principal with Berkshire Partners LLC, a Boston-based middle market private equity firm with aggregated capital commitments of over $6.5 billion. Mr. Moon had significant involvement in a number of investments including Crown Castle International and the privatization of the BBC transmission assets in the U.K. Mr. Moon was also a co-founder and Managing Director
of an alternative asset management business focused on serving Asian institutional investors and began his career in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. focused on communication, media, and technology businesses.
Mr. Moon led and plays an active role in Calera Capital's investment in LoopNet.
Mr. Moon graduated from Miami University (Ohio) as a Benjamin Harrison
Scholar with a B.A. degree in Economics.
