David P. Lorsch is a Managing Director of Calera Capital and a member of the General Partner.

Prior to joining Calera Capital in 1996, Mr. Lorsch was an investment banker with James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated, a New York mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. At Wolfensohn, he provided a broad range of financial and strategic advice to domestic and international clients involved in acquisitions and divestitures. He was also with Viacom Inc. in business development.

Mr. Lorsch currently serves as a Director of Direct General Corporation (non-standard auto insurer) and as a Director of Modular Space Corporation (lessor of modular assets). He is a former Director of Kerr Group, Inc. (specialty plastic packaging).

Mr. Lorsch holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and recipient of the Thayer Prize.
