Kevin Baker is a Managing Director and General Counsel of Calera Capital and a member of the General Partner.

Prior to joining Calera Capital in 1998, Mr. Baker was an attorney for approximately nine years with O'Melveny & Myers, where he was elected partner. At O'Melveny, he counseled clients in mergers and acquisitions transactions, securities law, and general corporate matters. He has represented buyers and sellers in numerous private and public mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Mr. Baker also has represented investors and issuers in private placements of securities and underwriters and issuers in public securities offerings. He also has experience in bank financings, bond financings and other corporate financing activities. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Baker was a member of the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Co.

Mr. Baker is a member of the California State Bar Association and is a Texas Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Baker received a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and a B.A. cum laude in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College.
