Fremont Partners, a leading private equity fund managing over $1.8 billion of capital, is pleased to announce Carol L. Foster has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Fund Operations.

Ms. Foster was most recently a Director with Merrill Lynch & Co. where she held the position of Business Manager for the firm's Technology Investment Banking Group in Palo Alto. Previously, she was a Director in Merrill Lynch's Global Industries Investment Banking Group and a Vice President in the firm’s Technology Investment Banking Group, both in New York. Ms. Foster began her investment banking career in Mergers and Acquisitions at Goldman Sachs & Co. Prior to receiving an MBA, Carol was a consultant with Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, working primarily with clients in the financial services industry.

Ms. Foster received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS magna cum laude in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University.

Mary McAllister Wilson, Fremont Partners’ Chief Financial Officer and Director of Fund Operations since 2000, has moved to Hong Kong with her family.
